Terms of Service

These Terms govern use of Hikeon, including the Hikeon website and mobile application. By using Hikeon, you agree to these Terms.

1. Hikeon marketplace

Hikeon helps hikers find and book guided hikes offered by independent organizers. Organizers are responsible for the hike listings, trip delivery, safety information, prices, and any organizer-specific rules. Hikeon is not the operator of a listed hike unless we say otherwise.

2. Accounts

Keep your account details accurate and protect your password. We may ask you to verify your email address or phone number to protect accounts and enable bookings. You must be old enough to enter into this agreement and must not use Hikeon unlawfully or impersonate another person.

3. Bookings and cash settlement

When you confirm a booking, you reserve the selected places on the hike. The app does not process card, mobile-money, or other in-app payments. The booking amount shown in the app is settled in cash directly with the organizer on the hike day. Confirm the amount, meeting point, and cancellation terms displayed for the hike before booking.

4. Changes, cancellations, and safety

Trip schedules, weather conditions, routes, and organizer availability can change. The organizer’s cancellation and refund terms shown with the hike apply. Follow reasonable safety instructions, disclose information needed for safe participation, and decide whether a hike is suitable for you. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

5. Organizers

Organizers must provide truthful business and contact information, verify their email address and phone number, and comply with applicable law. Hikeon may review organizer applications and suspend accounts or listings that are unsafe, misleading, or violate these Terms. Hikeon does not request government ID or business-certificate uploads in the Play Store app.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse Hikeon, interfere with the service, scrape it without permission, upload unlawful content, harass others, or use the service to facilitate fraud. We may remove content or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users or comply with law.

7. Contact and changes
